Instruction For Mutation of Properties Within Notified Bazar Area.

  1. The applicant should apply on prescribed Form (available in this office) alongwith attested copies of following documents.
    • CNIC
    • Sale Deed, Gift Deed, Lease Deed, Heirship Certificate, Court orders or any other titled document
  2. After necessary scrutiny of titled documents and publication of advertisement in daily newspapers, the case will be placed before the Bazar Committee / Board for approval.
  3. After approval of Board, mutation letter will be issued to applicant.

Note: Without depositing outstanding dues of Property Tax, Water Charges, Lease Rent etc, no application / notice will be entertainable by this office.

Instruction for Conversion of Old Grant Rights / Cantt Code Lease into Regular Leases.

In this regard, Govt of Pakistan issued Old Grant Policy in the year 2007 for conversion of these properties into regular lease in sch IX-C of the CLA Rules 1937 extended from time to time.

Procedure For Apply and Approval.

  1. The grantees / occupants should apply on prescribed Schedule-V Form duly completed / filled and pasted the site plan in it alongwith attested copies of following documents:-
    • CNIC
    • PTO / PTD issued by Settlement Deptt, Sale Deed, Gift Deed, Heirship Certificate, Court order or other titled documents
  2. After necessary scrutiny of titled documents and site inspection report,, the case will be placed before the Bazar Committee / Board for approval.
  3. After approval of Board, the case will be referred to Competent Authority i.e. DML&C Lahore for grant of necessary sanction for conversion of Old Grant Rights / Cantt Code Lease into regular lease.
  4. After sanction of Competant Authority, the applicants to deposit the relevant charges i.e. Premium & Dev. Charges etc and provide non judicial stamp papers of appropriate value for execution of lease deed and after submission of same, lease deed executed and handed over to applicant for registration in the office of Sub-Registrar.

Procedure For Monitoring and Control of Construction Activities

  • An independent Building Control Cell under supervision of Incharge BCC coupled with Enforcement and Vigilance Branch are functioning to monitor & control construction activities within Walton Cantonment limits are responsible to maintain daily progress register in which they submit daily progress on construction activities within the areas of their responsibilities.
  • Building Checkers are responsible to inspect the buildings during different phases of construction and take pictures of site and also to ensure the construction as per approved building plan.
